For the first time this year, Oz Lotto’s jackpot has cracked $70 million for next Tuesday night – paving the way for any of the next draw’s division one winners to enjoy a massive multi-million dollar treat just before Easter.

It comes after tonight’s $50 million division one prize eluded players across the nation, prompting the Oz Lotto prize to climb higher for the seventh week in a row.

Next week’s $70 million is the highest jackpot Oz Lotto has offered so far this year. It’s also the third highest Australian lottery offer to date in 2019.

While no entries scored the division one prize in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw, a total of 783,488 prizes worth more than $17.83 million were won in divisions two to seven.  This includes 11 division two winners who each landed $45,932.30.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said up to one-in-four Australian adults were expected to have an entry into next Tuesday’s $70 million draw.

“So far this year, only one entry has snagged the sought-after Oz Lotto division one prize.  After tonight’s results, we’re still waiting to crown our second division one winner for 2019,” he said.

“The first winner was a Bathurst couple who won $20 million in January. This couple didn’t discover their new millionaire status until several days after the draw when a ‘funny feeling’ prompted them to check their ticket.

“I know many Australians will be hoping to have a winning feeling themselves next Tuesday night after the numbers are drawn.”

In 2018, there were 20 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $253.7 million.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1309 were 40, 41, 13, 6, 14, 22 and 28, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 17.

Oz Lotto draw 1310 closes at 7:30pm AEST on Tuesday 26 March 2019.

Tickets can be purchased at any licensed lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via the Lott mobile app.

The Lott’s division one winning tally across all Australian lottery games has now reached 264 so far this financial year.

The sign of Australia’s Official Lotteries, the Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2018, 74 million winners took home a total of $2.7 billion in prize money from their favourite games which include Saturday Lotto, Monday and Wednesday Lotto, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, Keno and Instant Scratch-Its.
