A Parafield Gardens lottery player is likely spending the day celebrating and planning what to do with an extra $1 million after discovering they won division one in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
The winner held one of the five division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4193, drawn Saturday 25 September 2021 – each entry pockets $1,303,213.75.
However, how they plan to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
So far in 2021 there have been three division one wins in Northern Adelaide, collectively worth more than $3.77 million.
Their winning marked System 8 entry was purchased at Parafield Gardens Lottery Kiosk, 482 Salisbury Highway, Parafield Gardens.
Parafield Gardens Lottery Kiosk owner Philip Hwong said he was delighted to hear one of his customers had scored the big one.
“We are so happy for our winner,” he said.
“Hopefully this prize will make a good difference to their life. We would love to send our congratulations the winner and thank them for their support.
“It’s great news for the winner, the community and for us. We couldn’t be happier!
“It’s so good to have another division one win. We haven’t had one for a few years, so it’s a big moment for us.
“We can’t wait for our next big win! Good luck to our customers, we hope you experience the thrill of a division one win too.”
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said discovering the life-changing win was sure to put a smile on the mystery winner’s face.
“While we may never know how they plan to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they are walking around today grinning from ear to ear after discovering their win,” she said.
“Other winners tell us they use their windfall to help their families, buy a new house, upgrade their home with renovations or splurge a new car.
“However, our winner chooses to use their prize, we hope they enjoy the winning feeling as long as they can.”
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4193 on 25 September 2021 were 33. 29, 36, 40, 6 and 28, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 26.
