A Parramatta couple have kick started weekend celebrations a little earlier this week after today discovering they won $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries.
The New South Wales retirees won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1345, drawn Monday 10 June 2019.
Sharing their excitement with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon, the wife explained that she’d just discovered the exciting news.
“Woohoo!” the couple squealed with delight.
“Thank you! Thank you so much!” the woman said.
“I just checked the ticket online!
“I sent a photo of the results to my husband and he didn’t believe me!
“I also couldn’t believe what I was seeing! I can’t believe it’s true!
“We’re so so excited!”
The winners confessed they’d already planned exactly how they’d use their prize.
“Well my husband has already mentally spent it!” she laughed.
“We’re going to be very responsible and put most of it in our superannuation and buy a new car!
“We’re both retired so we’re going to be able to do plenty more travelling.
“We love sailing and going on adventures so this is great!”
The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their winning entry at Lals Xtra News, Shop 1012 Stockland Mall, 38-40 McFarlane Street, Merrylands.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $73.48 million for draw 1353 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.67 million for draw 10294.
