A Queenstown woman is stepping into the week with a boosted bank account and celebrating with new nails after winning more than $850,000 in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
The Adelaide resident held one of six division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4539, drawn Saturday 18 January 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $851,429.43.
The merry mother was left in complete shock when an official from The Lott broke the thrilling news.
“No way! Thank you so much. I never thought I’d get this call,” she cheered.
“Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You’re amazing. You don’t know how much this means to me.
“I can go visit my daughter. I haven’t seen her in ages because I haven’t been able to, but now I can! I can help her out as well.
“My mind is like jelly now. I’m just in total shock.
“You know what I’m going to do, I’m going to get myself a pedicure and leg massage. Well, actually I can do my whole body now!
“I’ve got to keep pinching myself. This is crazy.
“You’ve made my day. It’s just fantastic.”
Her winning 25-game QuickPick entry was purchased from Woodville IGA, 868 Port Road, Woodville. The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4539 on 20 January 2025 were 19, 15, 45, 7, 11 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 42.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4539 – one in Queensland, one in Victoria, one in South Australia and three in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 273 so far in FY25, including 27 won by SA Lotteries customers.
In FY24, Saturday X Lotto created 158 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 292 division one winning Saturday X Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
