A Pendle Hill pensioner is making tracks to her nearest car yard after realising she scored $200,000 in one of last week’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draws.
The New South Wales woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1297, drawn Friday 3 May 2019.
Confirming her win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the woman described the moment she discovered she was $200,000 richer.
“I couldn’t believe it happened,” she exclaimed.
“I checked on the computer at home, and I just couldn’t believe it.
“I usually just play Powerball and Lotto, but when I saw the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot was now at $60 million, I said ‘give me a ticket!’.
“This prize is just fabulous for me. I’m on a pension and it’s been a tough few months.
“I’m going to buy myself a nice little small car to get around in. It will make a world of difference to me.
“The rest I’m going to put away and save.”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of one random number at Pendle Hill Newsagency, 140 Pendle Way, Pendle Hill.
Pendle Hill Newsagency owner Ray Chan said he was thrilled to have sold the winning entry.
“It was very exciting. She checked her ticket in our store, and she was very happy,” he said.
“It’s good to have another big win here.
“Hopefully, we can sell the ticket that wins the $60 million Jackpot prize too.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $60.52 million for draw 1299 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $760,000 for draw 10287.
