Having barely slept a wink since discovering her Saturday Lotto division one win, a Pennant Hills mother-of-two plans to catch up on her sleep first before deciding how she’ll use her windfall.

The happy woman held one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3887 on 20 October 2018.  Each entry won the division one prize of $443,884.30.

Speaking with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the local resident revealed she discovered her winning news yesterday morning and had been celebrating ever since.

“I’ve only had about three hours sleep last night. I know you’ve got the best job in the world but it leaves people completely shattered!” she laughed.

“I discovered yesterday morning when I got the Sunday paper. I really didn’t believe it and I still don’t believe you.

“Can you please tell me this is not a joke? It’s fun dreaming about it and when it comes true you think ‘oh god, what am I going to do now?’.”

While she planned to share some of the prize with those at the top of her Lotto List – her two adult children, the regular player asserted she would first think long and hard about how to best use her windfall.

“That’s what I was thinking about all last night. When I get it, I’m going to stick it in the bank and wait until at least after Christmas before doing anything.

“I could go overseas until the money ran out, but I don’t think the kids would appreciate that. The kids will get something, as long as they don’t try to bump me off!

“I’m very boring, I’m going to stick it in the bank and spend at least three months thinking about what I’ll do because I’m sure I’ll change my mind a half a dozen times.”

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 50-game QuickPick at Pennant Hills Market Place Newsagency, Shop 10, Pennant Hills Market Place, 4-10 Hillcrest Road, Pennant Hills.

Pennant Hills Market Place Newsagency owner Adam Yao said he was celebrating one of his customers taking home the coveted division one prize.

“We’ve been here almost four years and this is our first division one win,” he exclaimed.

“It’s exciting news for our newsagency and of course for our winner.

“It’s great to spread the news and tell our customers we’ve had a big win.”

So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto have created 146 millionaires across Australia.
