A Pennington pensioner has declared he has been left ‘dumbstruck’ after discovering he is now over half-a-million-dollars richer from scoring division one in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
The Adelaide local held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4003, drawn Saturday 30 November 2019. Each entry scored a division one prize of $587,936.00.
As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the happy winner also scored division four, bolstering his total prize to $587,966.70
When a SA Lotteries official confirmed the win this afternoon, the overjoyed man confessed he had been completely oblivious to the win because he had been of town.
“It’s fantastic! I’m blown away! I’m dumbstruck!” he exclaimed.
“I’ve been away visiting family so had no idea I had won.
“You have no idea how much this is going to change my life.
“I play the same numbers every week. They are my family’s birthdates.
“The biggest win I’ve ever had was $480 so this one certainly beats that!
“It’s such a weird feeling to think I’ve won more than half-a-million dollars. It’s perfect timing just before Christmas!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his X Lotto windfall, the stoked bloke said the news was still digesting the winning revelation.
“I can’t think about that right now. I think the news is still sinking in!” he laughed.
“I think I’ll have to go on holiday with my daughter. Not sure where yet as its all a bit much but we’ll go somewhere fun.
“After that, I’m not sure. I can’t even say how I’ll celebrate as it doesn’t feel real!”
The thrilled man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning 14-game marked entry at Guardian Pennington Pharmacy, 1 Addison Road, Pennington.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Monday & Wednesday X Lotto and Saturday X Lotto created 193 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4003 on Saturday 30 November 2019 were 10, 30, 16, 22, 38 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 14.
Across Australia, there were seven division one entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4003 – three from Queensland, two from Western Australia and one each from South Australia and New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 350 so far this calendar year, including 39 won by SA Lotteries customers.
