A Revesby man has had to rummage through his bin this morning to find a million-dollar Lotto ticket that he’d accidentally thrown away.
The Sydney player held one of the two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4111, drawn Wednesday 8 September 2021. They scored the division one prize of $1 million.
Sharing his shock with an official from The Lott this morning, the winning man said he was still reeling from finding his ticket in his bin.
“Oh my god,” he laughed.
“That’s fantastic!
“You wouldn’t believe it, I accidentally threw my ticket out, and I just had to go looking through the bins for the ticket. But we found it!
“I cannot believe it. I can’t believe we threw out that ticket.
“It’s incredible. To be honest, I am in shock.
“I am very, very happy. But I am in shock.
“This is going to change our lives in such a big way!”
“We will try to find a new house, and maybe even buy a new car, mine is so old.
“I’m very, very happy. This is amazing!”
His winning marked System 9 entry was purchased at T&L Newsagency, Shop 10, 64 Beaconsfield Street, Revesby.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4111 on Wednesday 8 September 2021 were 6, 26, 38, 5, 40, and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 13 and 16.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4111 – one from New South Wales and one from Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 315 so far this calendar year, including 94 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
