A Tasmanian resident is flying through the week $884,000 richer after winning division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw – they just might not know it yet.

The elusive winner held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4551, drawn Saturday 1 March 2025. Each entry scored $884,118.73.

Although the division one winning entry is registered to The Lott Members Club, officials from The Lott were unable to make contact with the winner on the details provided to deliver the life-enhancing news.

The winning entry was purchased at Wynyard Newsagency, 96 Goldie Street, Wynyard.

Wynyard Newsagency team member Aneeka Hall said she was very excited to hear her outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

“It’s great news! Our community will be ecstatic for our division one winner and I’m sure they’ll be happy to hear a major lottery win has landed in Wynyard!" she said.

“It’s been 13 years since our last division one win which was a $10 million win in Oz Lotto. We’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting to sell another and couldn’t be happier to have done so now.

“There’s no doubt this division one win will be the start of a winning streak, and we will expect many more to come.

“Congratulations to the division one winner and thank you for supporting Wynyard Newsagency!”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eagerly waiting to speak with the region’s newest division one winner despite repeated attempts to phone the winner going unanswered.

“I was ready to reveal the life-enhancing news to Tasmania’s newest division one winner earlier this week, but sadly whenever I called the number provided, it just rang out and went straight to message bank,” she said.

“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the mystery major lottery winner we’re trying to contact.

“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an entry into the recent TattsLotto draw from Wynyard Newsagency that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all TattsLotto players to check their entries as soon as possible. If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact the Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4551 on 1 March 2025 were 13, 11, 37, 12, 3 and 6, while the supplementary numbers were 44 and 2.

Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4551 – two from South Australia and one each from Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 323 so far in FY25, including 117 won by Tatts customers.

In 2024, TattsLotto created 149 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 316 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $400.2 million
