Nearly seven weeks after the draw, a mystery Ringwood player has come forward to claim their TattsLotto division one prize worth over $659,000 – kicking off their new year and new decade with a bang.

The mysterious winner held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3999, drawn Saturday 16 November 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $659,502.54.

The winning entry was not registered to a Tatts Card, so Tatts officials had no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

However how the winner plans to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said while we might not know how this winner planned to enjoy their windfall, or why it took them so long to discover their life-changing news, there was no doubt it would change their plans for the new year.

“We can only imagine how our happy winner will enjoy their division one TattsLotto prize!” she exclaimed.

“Some winners tell us they will use their windfall to realise their great Australian dream of owning a home, buying an investment property or upgrading their home with renovations.

“While others say they will spend their windfall on a once-in-a-lifetime holiday overseas or that they plan to explore our sunburnt country via motorhome.

“Mostly our winners tell us they can’t wait to share it with their beloved family and friends.

“No matter how our winner plans to enjoy their windfall, we do know that their year, decade and life has changed forever!”

The winning entry was purchased at Nextra Eastlands Newsagency, 1015, Eastland Shopping Centre, 171 Maroondah Highway, Ringwood.

Nextra Eastlands Newsagency owner Ray Tanti said he was thrilled his winner had finally been united with their prize.

“Good on them! We are thrilled they’ve finally discovered their good fortune!” he exclaimed.

“This is the fifth division one winning entry we’ve sold in three years so we are definitely on a good run of wins.

“We hope the run continues for our customers.

“We wish our division one winner all the best with their prize.

“It’s a great feeling knowing that your team has had a small part in making a life-changing difference to someone’s life!”
