A Rockdale man has declared his $102,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win is the “highlight” of his lockdown and he plans to spend the day celebrating his windfall with a glass of Baileys.

The Southern Sydney winner held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10480, drawn Wednesday 28 July 2021.

As well as scoring the 1st Prize, the man also won a consolation prize of $2,000, boosting his total windfall to $102,000.

Straight after the draw, an official from The Lott called the jolly player, who was left dumbfounded by the thrilling news.

“Oh goodness! That’s a winner,” he laughed.

“Wow! I’m totally speechless. This is the highlight of my lockdown.

“I didn’t want to get too excited when you called saying you were from The Lott.

“Lately, I’ve been buying entries into Lucky Lotteries. I’m so glad I did.

“This is such a pleasant surprise. I’ve never won anything in my life!

“That’s wonderful news!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the Sydney resident immediately thought of paying off some bills.

“Does it sound too normal if I pay off some bills and treat myself?” he questioned.

“The number one thing on my list is to book a holiday with my wife. That’s when we can travel, of course.

“I’m going to pop open a bottle of Baileys to celebrate the win. Well, any bubbles will do!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of six consecutive numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
