A Salisbury woman has chosen a unique way to enjoy her $100,000 win in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw – changing her water supply from septic to a main water system.
The Northern Adelaide resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10674, drawn Thursday 8 September 2022.
A Salisbury Plains man also celebrated a winning moment after taking home a Keno Spot 9 prize worth $150,000 on Saturday 10 September 2022.
“That’s awesome – what a shock and a surprise!” she giggled when an official from The Lott reached out.
“I can’t believe it! I’m ecstatic!
“I haven’t had a moment to check my ticket because I’ve been at work.
“I wouldn’t have checked this entry unless you called me.
“This is definitely the most I’ve ever won in my lifetime!
“The other day I said to my friend, ‘You know, I’d be happy to win $100!’
“Earlier in the week, I won a free ticket, and on Tuesday night, I won $15. I was pretty chuffed.
“But, one hundred thousand dollars is next level, just fantastic.
“The first phone call I’m going to make is to my partner – he won’t believe it.”
With $100,000 about to land into her bank account, the winning woman revealed her peculiar plans for her prize.
“This sounds so corny, but we live on an acre property and we’re on septic water. We’ve always said, if we won a major lottery prize, we would change to a main water system,” she revealed.
“We will use this prize to do exactly that! Who knows, we might also treat ourselves to a new car.”
Her winning entry of two random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $14.45 million for draw 1591, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $27.06 million for draw 10679.
In FY22, 169 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
