A Sanctuary Point woman is holding on tight to her passport so she’s ready for the day she can once again travel overseas following her $200,000 Lucky Lotteries win last week.
The New South Wales player scored the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1487, drawn Friday 5 June 2020.
“This is fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!” the woman cried when her win was confirmed by an official from the Lott.
“I screamed when I saw the email that I’d won! But then I thought it might be bogus. I’m glad it’s not!
“Look, you’ve made my day! Oh dear! Wow!
“I don’t play a lot, but every now and then I buy a Lucky Lotteries ticket.
“I can’t take it in at the moment. It’s lovely!
“I’ll have to keep this ticket someone safe. It’s very valuable!”
The avid traveller confessed she couldn’t wait to resume her adventures when the time was right.
“When I can, I’ll be back in the air,” she declared.
“This will be great for future travels. I’ll be spending the coming months thinking about all the places I could go to.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of one random number at Sanctuary Point Newsagency, Shop 4, 206 Kerry Street, Sanctuary Point.
Sanctuary Point Newsagency owner Kim Battagliolo said she was celebrating one of her customers scoring the 1st Prize.
“We’re no stranger to wins here,” she said.
“We sold two division one prizes last year in Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto.
“We wish our latest winner all the best for their great win.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $3.64 million for draw 1488, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $760,000 for draw 10386.
