Trick-or-treaters won’t be the only ones surprising and delighting this Halloween, with this weekend’s Saturday Lotto $20 million Superdraw giving Aussies the chance to treat themselves if they take home a division one prize.

So far in 2020, Superdraws have created 61 division one winners across the country and crowned 29 newly-minted millionaires.  Together this exclusive group has shared a massive $100 million in division one prize money.

The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said there’d be plenty of screams of excitement on Saturday night when the next round of Superdraw winners discovered their lives had changed.

“This weekend’s Superdraw division one winners may think it’s all a trick or get completely spooked when they learn they’ve landed the big one,” Ms Cooney said.

“We’ve certainly had some shocking reactions in the past. One division one winner told us he screamed so much his neighbours came over to check that he was okay.

“Another said he had to take himself to hospital because he thought his heart was going to leap out of his chest. The doctor did tell him that he was completely fine, just very excited!”

Ms Cooney said up to one-in-four Australian adults were expected to have an entry in this Saturday’s Superdraw.

“It’s always a great pleasure to confirm this life-changing news with our Superdraw division one winners and we can’t wait to hear their stunned reactions after this weekend’s draw,” she said.

“For anyone buying an entry, I recommend you register your entry to a player card. This means your prize is secure and I can give you a call with the life-changing news if you’re holding a division one winning entry.”

Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, there were 318 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $346.12 million.

The Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw, Saturday Lotto draw 4099, will take place on Saturday 31 October 2020.
