With $100 million up for grabs in Thursday night’s Powerball draw, Australian lottery players may be keen to discover the entry types and numbers that have helped previous division one winners take home the coveted prize.

The $100 million jackpot for Powerball draw 1379 on Thursday 20 October 2022 is the second biggest prize offered by any Australian lottery game this year and the first time Powerball has offered $100 million in 2022.

The jackpot has reached this level after there were no division one winners during the past four Powerball draws.

The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said up to half of Australian adults were expected to have an entry into this week’s draw in the hope they became Powerball’s sixteenth division one winner of 2022.

“If just one person scores the entire $100 million prize on Thursday night, they’ll also be crowned the second biggest Australian lottery winner in history,” he said.

“The idea of winning this life-changing jackpot is sure to get Aussies dreaming big this week.

“As long as you’ve got a ticket in your hand before the draw’s close at 7.30pm AEST on Thursday night, you’re in with a chance to win!

“If you’re grabbing a ticket, be sure to register your entry to a player card or online account. This means if you win division one, we can call you immediately after the draw with the life-changing news.”
