A St Clair man admitted the news he’d become an overnight Monday Lotto millionaire gave him pins and needles throughout his body.
The New South Wales player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4028, drawn Monday 23 November 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $1 million.
An official from The Lott finally got onto the winning man this morning, who had no idea he’d become an overnight millionaire.
“You’re joking, aren’t ya?” he laughed.
“No way! You’ve got to be kidding me!
“I’ve got pins and needless going all through me.
“Oh, I feel all funny now. This is incredible!
“Timing couldn’t be better!
“God, I am completely blown away. I need to sit down and let this sink in.
“I can’t believe I am a millionaire! I never thought that would happen.”
With his bank balance about to balloon by $1 million, the stoked bloke thought of his family first.
“I will definitely share some of my prize with my kids,” he declared.
“I’ll take them out to dinner tonight for a bit of celebration too!
“I would love to do some travel around Australia as well.”
The happy dad, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning marked 18-game entry from Foodworks St Clair, Shop 13-14, 46-52 Melville Road, St Clair.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4028 on 23 November 2020 were 20, 38, 35, 13, 24 and 12, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 3.
Across Australia, there was one division one entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4028 – the entry from New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 172 so far this financial year, including 44 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
Last financial year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 86 millionaires across Australia.
