Lottery officials are hoping to top off a Wollongong resident’s festive season with the news of their $200,000 win in the latest Lucky Lotteries draw – but first, the mystery winner needs to check their ticket.
The New South Wales resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1554, drawn Monday 20 December 2021.
As well as winning the 1st Prize, the mystery winner also won a consolation prize of $1,000, boosting their total windfall of $201,000.
So far in 2021, there have been nine major prize winning Lucky Lotteries entries in the Illawarra and South-East New South Wales region collectively worth more than $1.10 million.
The ticket is unregistered, so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Figtree Newsagency, Shop 29, Westfield Shoppingtown, Cnr Princes Highway and The Avenue, Figtree.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was hoping to unite the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot winner with their life-enhancing prize.
“With Christmas right around the corner, I’m sure it would be an absolute delight to discover this exciting news!” she said.
“If our mystery winner checks their Lucky Lotteries ticket and claims their prize, $201,000 will be heading straight into their bank account in the new year.
“Make sure you check your wallet, shopping bags, fridge door and glovebox. Our previous winners have found valuable tickets in all sorts of strange places!
“We’re urging all players who are holding a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket purchased from Figtree Newsagency to check their tickets are soon as possible.
“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.80 million for draw 1555, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $5.4 million for draw 10513.
