Salisbury woman’s dream comes true with $1.25 million X Lotto windfall

A Salisbury woman who has always dreamt of winning the lottery can now say her dream has come true after receiving a phone call from lottery officials revealing her $1.25 million Saturday X Lotto win.

“You’re joking! This isn’t a scam, is it?” the winning woman asked when an official from The Lott revealed her lottery loot.

“I can’t believe it! Is this for Saturday X Lotto?

“The ticket has been sitting in my bag the entire time. I had no idea!

“This is the best day! I’ve been playing for a long time.

“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to hear that!

“I’ve always dreamt that this day would come.

“Thank you so much.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her life as a newly made millionaire, the South Australian revealed it would help her upgrade the big and small things in life.

“Well, for starters, I need a new phone! It’s been playing up,” she laughed.

“I’ve always wanted to build my very own house as well.

“I need to upgrade my car which is more than 20 years old.

“There’s so many things! How exciting.”

Her winning 12-game entry was purchased at Para Vista Tom’s Deli¸ Shop 7, 275 Nelson Road, Para Vista.

Para Visa Tom’s Deli owner Thanh Phan said he was overjoyed to have sold a division one winning entry to a regular customer.

“It’s wonderful news for Para Visa Tom’s Deli, and we were so excited to hear that one of our customers had picked up a $1.25 million win from our outlet,” he said.

“It always feels like we’ve won ourselves when we sell a winning ticket!

“We wish them all the best with their prize and thank them for supporting Para Visa Tom’s Deli. We hope their prize goes a long way!”

Check your Saturday X Lotto tickets, Mawson Lakes! A millionaire walks among you

A Mawson Lakes resident or visitor won $1.25 million in the weekend’s X Lotto draw but may be unaware they’re a newly-minted millionaire.

The elusive South Australia ticketholder held one of the eight division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4365, drawn Saturday 20 May 2023, and took home $1,250,000.00.

The winning entry was not registered to a player card, which means officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the winner of their life-changing news and must wait for them to check their ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mawson Central Newsagency, Shop 12, Mawson Central, 9-15 Main Street, Mawson Lakes.

The Mawson Central Newsagency team said they’re ecstatic to have sold a division one winning entry and hoped their mystery winner checked their ticket soon.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eagerly waiting to speak to the region’s latest division one winner.

“It’s very likely this winner is oblivious to the fact they became a millionaire on the weekend,” she said.

A St Agnes player is starting the working week $1.25 million richer after winning division one in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw – they just might know it yet.

The Adelaide winner held one of the eight division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto, drawn Saturday, 20 May 2023. They take home $1,250,000.00.

Although the division one winning entry is registered, officials from The Lott were unable to make contact with the winner on the details provided to deliver the life-changing news.

The winning entry was purchased at St Agnes Newsagency, Shops 36, St Agnes Shopping Centre, 1244 North East Road, St Agnes.

St Agnes Newsagency manager Pranav Prajapati said he was smiling ear to ear after hearing his outlet had sold their very first division one winning entry.

“I’m so happy! It’s very hard for me to believe that we had sold our first division one winning entry in the weekend’s X Lotto draw,” he shared.

“We can’t wait to decorate our store with balloons and posters to let our customers know that we sold a division one winning entry worth $1.25 million!
