South-east Melbourne extravaganza! 11 TattsLotto players celebrate division one delight

Eleven south-east Melbourne players are entering the working week feeling on top of the world after they scored two exhilarating division one wins in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The victorious Victorians held two of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto, draw 4443, drawn on Saturday 17 February 2024. Each entry won a division one prize of $683,814.78.

One of the division one winning entries was a 10-person store syndicate from Arena Lucky Lotto, Kiosk 2, Arena Shopping Centre, 4 Cardinia Road, Officer.

The other winning entry was purchased from Patterson Lakes Pharmacy, Shop 7 Lakeview Shopping Centre, Thompson Road, Patterson Lakes.

A happy crew of 10 Officer players share $744,000 TattsLotto prize

Ten TattsLotto Officer players are revelling in excitement after their syndicate, called Saturday Favourite, bagged division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

In addition to the $683,814.78 division one prize, the group’s marked System 11 entry also won division two 6 times, division three 24 times, division four 150 times, division five 120 times, division six 80 times – bolstering their total prize to $744,937.48.

Each syndicate member receives a share worth $74,493.75.

Shares into the winning syndicate were purchased at Arena Lucky Lotto, Kiosk 2, Arena Shopping Centre, 4 Cardinia Road, Officer.

Arena Lucky Lotto owner Gurmit Singh said his team had welcomed the winning news with open arms after patiently waiting to sell their next big one.

“This is very exciting! It’s long-awaited news that we’ve been patiently waiting to hear and we couldn’t be happier that it has finally arrived,” he said.

“Our last division one winning entry was sold about seven years ago but we’re sure this entry is the start to a winning streak!

“Our regulars love to visit us because it puts them in an enthusiastic mood. There’s nothing we enjoy more than seeing their faces and we wish to sell many more division one winning entries to them.

“I’m sending all my syndicate members my best wishes and I hope their win allows them to have a happy and prosperous life!”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.

“The Officer region had a good run in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw with 10 syndicate members waking up to a slice of a division one win over the weekend,” she said.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries,  there are some who hold unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

From tough times to triumph! Carrum woman captivated by $680,000 TattsLotto win

A Carrum mum’s tough times are set to come to an end after she received a phone call from lottery officials revealing her $683,000 TattsLotto win.

The long-time player shared her morning wasn’t going to plan until she picked up the phone to discover her newfound fortune.

“What?! Are you kidding me!” she joyfully yelled.

“Oh my goodness me! I can’t believe it!

“Oh wow. Oh wow. I had no idea! It’s a bit of a shock.

“I’ve had an awful morning. What wonderful news!

“You don’t know what this means to me. My family has been through some really tough times and my children will be so excited to hear that I’ve won.

“I’ve been playing for 30-odd years. Ah, I can’t wait to tell my family!

“My cat is sitting here wondering what is going on. She probably thinks something is wrong!”

With $680,000 about to land in her bank account, the Melburnian shared it would be of enormous help to her family.

“This will help my family so much. I can’t believe it – something good is here!” she said.

“I think I might surprise my kids tonight. I’ll say to them, ‘Hey! I need to tell you something good’.

“They’ll have to all come over and we will go out to a nice dinner to celebrate.

“Thank you so much for the beautiful phone call.”

Her winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased at Patterson Lakes Pharmacy, Shop 7, Lakeview Shopping Centre, Thompson Road, Patterson Lakes.

Patterson Lakes Pharmacy Tatts manager Hang Nguyen said it was awesome his outlet had sold a division one winning entry to a local customer.

“It’s such a heartfelt moment, and we’re overjoyed to be a part of it! It was such great news to hear about on our weekend,” he said.

“We’ve already started to order some big balloons to decorate the store with and we’ve already ordered some bubbly to open up with the team to celebrate.

“We’ve started to tell some of our customers that we’ve sold a division one winning entry and their reactions have been great. One customer’s eyes opened wide with excitement!

“Our last division one winning entry was in 2019, so this has been a long time coming and we’re super excited for the customer. Thank you for supporting us and we wish you the very best!”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4443 on 17 February 2024 were 22, 11, 34, 28, 25 and 7, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 35.

Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4443 – five in Victoria and three in New South Wales.
