The morning school run has never been more thrilling for a Southern Sydney mum who pulled over after dropping the kids off and checked her Saturday Lotto ticket to realise she was $2.5 million richer.

The New South Wales player held one of the four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4155, drawn Saturday 15 May 2021. Each entry won a division one prize of $2.5 million.

Sharing her excitement with an official from The Lott this morning, the woman explained she’d just made the stunning discovery.

“Oh my god! Oh my god!” she cried with happiness.

“God bless you! What good news.

“I am so happy. Wow. Wow. Wow.

“Thank god! Oh. This is incredible.

“My whole body is numb!

“I am so excited. Thank you very much.

“I checked my ticket at a newsagency and they told me the prize was too big to pay out.

“This morning I did the school run and then I thought I better check the ticket again, so I pulled over and checked it!

“I had a feeling I’d won something big but I never thought this big!

“I’m sitting in the car. I can’t believe it!”

When asked what she thought she might do with $2.5 million, the Sydney woman said the options were endless.

“I can help my children, I can help everyone!” she declared.

“I am going to pay off my mortgage and I will be able to retire now.

“It’s incredible!”

The life-changing entry was purchased at Broadarrow Newsagency and Tobacconist, 66 Broadarrow Road, Narwee.

Broadarrow Newsagency and Tobacconist owner Mandy Tiaw said she was in celebration mode.

“I was so shocked when I heard the news that we’d sold another division one winning entry!” she exclaimed.

“I just can’t believe it!

“We’ve put up posters and we’ve got balloons everywhere. We’ve also been sharing the news with our customers.

"We are so happy to know our winner has checked their ticket!

“We last sold a $50 million Powerball division one winning entry in 2018. So, in three years, we have sold two division one winning entries.

“We are so happy for the winner and wish them all the best!”
