A Stretton man is striding into the weekend with a winning grin after scoring $200,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Brisbane resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1655 on Wednesday 27 March 2024. In addition to the $200,000 1st Prize, the winning man also scored a $1,000 consolation prize.
“You’ve brought sunshine to the rainy week,” the man exclaimed when his prize was confirmed.
“I had somewhat of a sleepless night! I think you might have slept better than me!
“I would have been stoked with $1,000 but to get $200,000 is something else.
“I’m very family-orientated. I’ve had a lot of help from them, and this will be able to help us to do things we weren’t able to do before.
“You run through thoughts of what you can do. So many possibilities. Two hundred thousand dollars!
“It’s just unbelievable! The feeling I had when I found out yesterday! I was speechless. This doesn’t happen every day!”
The man’s winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
