The excitement of discovering a division one windfall of $62,558 in Super 66 has left a Winton man tossing and turning all weekend.
The Central Queensland held one of the two division one winning entries in Super 66 draw 4203, drawn 30 October 2021. Each winner took home a division one prize of $62,558.25.
Confirming his prize with an official from The Lott this morning, the stoked bloke shared the revelation of his windfall made him too stunned to sleep.
“I’m in a bit of shock. I’ve had no sleep the past two days!” he exclaimed.
“I checked the results on Saturday night before I went to bed. I opened The Lott app, and I was left dumbfounded. I said to my partner, ‘I think I’ve won something big’.
“She didn’t believe me. She thought I’d only won a couple of dollars!
“We’re all in shock.
“I’ve been working long hours lately and it’s nice to land an exciting win!
“The prize might go towards a few things. I’m looking forward to a holiday in North Queensland for Christmas, so it will be helpful for that.
“We might put it towards house renovations. We’ll have a think about it!
“How exciting.”
