While most lottery winners lie awake in disbelief after their life-changing news, a Colac man has admitted he slept like a baby after discovering his $3.3 million TattsLotto win in the weekend’s draw.

The victorious Victorian held one of the six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4571, drawn Saturday 10 May 2025 and looks forward to $3,333,342.29.

As the winning entry wasn’t registered to The Lott Members Club, lottery officials had been eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward to claim their prize.

“I’m super excited,” he laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed the win.

“It’s so crazy. I can’t believe it. I am a regular at Colac Lotto and have purchased my lottery tickets there for almost a decade.

“I normally only win something small, but I knew a big win would come around one day.

“We celebrated the win with a couple of bottles of French champagne.

“Honestly, I have slept better since I discovered the win – I don’t have any worries!

“I couldn’t come to The Lott head office in Melbourne fast enough. It took four hours, but it was so worth it!”

The overjoyed man confessed he’d always dreamt of embarking on a luxury cruise but never thought it would be possible - until now.

“I’d love to go on a holiday. Maybe a five-star cruise to the top-end of Australia! I used to get jealous of people who could do that,” he exclaimed.

“I’ll also pay off some bills and loans.”

His winning entry was purchased at Colac Lotto, 146 Murray Street, Colac.

Colac Lotto manager Rachael Anderson said her team were so excited when they found out a division one winning entry was sold at their outlet.

“We’re all super excited. We’ve started to dress up in party clothes and decorate our store to let our customers know that we sold a multi-million-dollar ticket,” she said.

“This division one win has definitely been the talk of the town. We’ve had so many customers come in and check their ticket, wondering if they’re the fortunate winner.

“We’ve sold 31 division one winning entries in the last 15 years, and it never fails to make us smile! Congratulations from all of us here at Colac Lotto and we wish them all the best.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4571 on 10 May 2025 were 1, 35, 18, 25, 45 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 16.

Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4571 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria and one in Queensland.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 402 so far in FY25, including 147 won by Tatts customers.

In 2024, TattsLotto created 149 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 316 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $400.2 million.
