An inner-Sydney shopper has started the week dreaming of how they’ll enjoy a spare $25,000 after scratching one of the top prizes of $25,000 on a $2 Diner Dollars Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at Fountain Newsagency, Shop 10, 23-31 Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross.
However, how the winner plans to spend their $25,000 instant windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
Fountain Newsagency owner Jigarkumar Soni said he was thrilled to have sold the top prize winning ticket.
“We’ve been such a lucky store lately!” he exclaimed.
“We’ve sold winning Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize tickets and division one winning Wednesday Lotto entries as well, so it’s great to add this to the list.
“We wish our winner all the best!”
Instant Scratch-Its spokesperson Lauren Cooney said the inner-city Sydney winner was just one of many Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners from New South Wales in recent months.
“While we don’t know what big plans the latest Instant Scratch-Its top prize winner has with this windfall, we do know that for many of our winners, seeing that prize in their bank accounts offers a world of opportunities,” she said.
“We look forward to crowning more Instant Scratch-Its winners as there are still a colossal number of prizes across all tiers available with Instant Scratch-Its.
“Imagine what you could do with an additional $25,000 in your bank account!
“Many winners tell us they use their Instant Scratch-Its top prize on home renovations, family holidays or upgrading their cars.”
In 2018, there were 155 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across the Lott’s jurisdictions who collectively took home more than $14.26 million.
The latest range of Instant Scratch-Its tickets are available now at NSW Lotteries outlets. It could happen in an instant. It could happen to you.
