A Sylvania man says not having to worry about paying off a mortgage is beyond his wildest dreams, but that’s the new reality for the Sydney man who took home division one in last night’s Lotto draw.
The New South Wales player held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4116, drawn Monday 27 September 2021 and scored $1 million.
Sharing his shock with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the jubilant man had no idea he was last night’s only division one winner.
“Wow!” he laughed.
“That’s unbelievable. That’s fantastic!
“I need to sit down.
“Oh my god! I had no idea.
“Wow! I’m flabbergasted.
“I’ve been playing the same numbers for years, they are all birthday numbers.
“This means a lot. I can’t believe it!”
When asked what he thought he might do with his lottery fortune, he didn’t hesitate revealing his plans.
“I’ve just put a deposit down on a house but now I will be able to pay for it in full,” he explained.
“It will be unbelievable to not have to pay for a mortgage. It’s beyond my wildest dreams.
“Maybe I’ll even be able to take a holiday once we get out of lockdown!”
His winning entry was purchased at Southgate Newsagency, Shop 30, Southgate Shopping Centre, Cnr Princes Highway & Port Hacking Road, Sylvania.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4116 on Monday 27 September 2021 were 21, 4, 15, 24, 2 and 36 while the supplementary numbers were 3 and 18.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4116 – the entry from New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 340 so far this calendar year, including 100 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
