Three days after the draw, the mystery surrounding the Werribee missing winner has been solved with a shopper coming forward today to claim their TattsLotto division one prize.

The Werribee winner held one the six division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw, drawn on 14 July 2018. Each entry took home a division one prize of $672,883.61.

But as the winning 36-game QuickPick entry was not registered to a Tatts Card, Tatts officials had no way of contacting the winner and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

Exactly who the Werribee winner is and how they’ll spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in a shroud of secrecy.

The winning entry was purchased at Hudsons Lotto & Dry Cleaner, Shop 5, 145 Watton Street, Werribee.

Huddons Lotto & Dry Cleaner owner Peter Grey said he was thrilled the division one prize had been claimed by one of his valued customers.

“It was great when the customer came in because they had no idea, so I got to break the news,” he explained.

“The customer is very valued at the store, so we are really happy for them.

“We will definitely be celebrating at the store! We have decorations up already.

“I hope the wins keep rolling in for our customers. We have a really good vibe in store now.

“It is brilliant, it is the second division one prize we’ve sold in ten months.

“We have also sold about eight division two prizes this year. We can’t wait to have some more wins!”

It is the second time in seven days that a division one win has landed in Werribee. Another Werribee shopper claimed a division one prize of $503,668.42 in TattsLotto draw 3857 from an entry purchased as Werribee Authorised Newsagency.

The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3859 on Saturday 14 July 2018 were 45, 40, 6, 32, 12 and 11. The supplementary numbers were 10 and 20.

Across Australia there were six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3859 – two each from Victoria and Western Australia, and one each from Queensland and the Northern Territory.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 216 so far this calendar year, including 91 won by Tatts customers.

Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $341.27 million.
