A Dapto shopper has ten thousand reasons to smile today after scratching one of the top prizes of $10,000 on a $1 Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at newsXpress Dapto, Shop G106, Dapto Mall, Princes Hwy & Moombara Street, Dapto.
However, how the winner plans to spend their $10,000 instant windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
newsXpress Dapto owner Dragi Gugucevski said he was thrilled another one of his customers had scored a major prize.
“We think we are the luckiest shop in the area!” he exclaimed.
“We’ve been here 25 years and know all of our customers well. Over that time we’ve sold plenty of major prizes including three division one winning entries last year.
“We’ve also sold two Instant Scratch-Its top prizes in recent years but it has been a little while, so we are happy to have sold another one!
“Every time we win our customers get so excited for us! We hope we sell another winner soon.
“Congratulations to our winner. We hope they enjoy their prize!”
Instant Scratch-Its spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said there was no doubt the mystery winner was wearing a winning smile after scratching the top prize.
“What a lovely way to kick off the week, scratching a $10,000 prize,” she said.
“We have no doubt this player will enjoy every moment of their instant windfall.
