A Tenambit woman is using her time in self-isolation to plan an overseas getaway after winning the 1st Prize of $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10364, drawn Tuesday 7 April 2020.
As well as winning the 1st Prize, the woman also won a consolation prize of $2,000 boosting her total win to $102,000.
This morning, an official from the Lott confirmed the win with the Maitland woman, who relayed the moment she made the exciting discovery.
“I’m going good, very good actually,” she laughed.
“When I checked my ticket, I was overwhelmed. I just thought I never win anything, so I was very happy!
“I told my husband and he didn’t really believe me.
“We are plenty happy. We had some champagne to celebrate. That’s about all we can really do at the moment.
“But honestly, it’s just an amazing feeling. It’s unreal.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the keen traveller said she couldn’t wait until she could finally venture overseas again.
“We are going to put some of it towards our mortgage and then, when we can, we will go on a big overseas trip,” she explained.
“The rest we will put away for the future.”
The winning entry was purchased at Tenambit Newsagency & Post Office, 39 Maize Street, Tenambit.
