Powerball has ended 2022 with an almighty bang, with three Australian lottery players sharing tonight’s $100 million jackpot and becoming newly minted multi-millionaires just in time for 2023.
There were two division one winning entries from New South Wales and one from Queensland in Powerball draw 1389, drawn Thursday 29 December 2022. Each of these entries takes home a division one prize of $33,333,333.34.
There was also a total of 3,115,707 prizes worth more than $56.5 million won in divisions two to nine in tonight’s Powerball draw. Among these prizes were 33 division two wins each worth $47,444.20.

Durack woman’s Christmas gift to herself yields $34.2 million Powerball surprise
A Durack mum who bought herself a Powerball ticket for Christmas has been revealed as the only Queensland division one winner in tonight’s Powerball draw.
In addition to winning division one, the Queenslander’s PowerHit QuickPick entry also scored division two 19 times, bolstering her total windfall to $34,234,773.14.
