Four members of a Kilburn syndicate have experienced a joyous pre-Christmas surprise as they unwrapped a share of a $993,000 division one Saturday X Lotto win.
The Adelaideans held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4425, drawn Saturday 16 December 2023 and took home a total prize of $982,100.68.
In addition to the $982,100.68 prize, the group’s marked System 8 entry also scored division three 12 times, division four 15 times, division five six times and division six 14 times, bolstering their total division one prize to $993,514.28.
Each syndicate member receives a share worth $248,378.58.
The winning syndicate was established by Kilburn North Licensed Post Office & Newsagency, Churchill Centre, Shop 21/380-408 Churchill Road, Kilburn.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said all syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.
“This Adelaide syndicate scored one of the five division one wins nationally from the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw which is wondrous right before Christmas,” she said.
“Each syndicate member held unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.
“Can you imagine discovering you won more than $248,000 right before Christmas? It sure would change some of those festive plans around.
“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw, today’s the day to check it!

The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4425 on 16 December 2023 were 12, 39, 13, 8, 17 and 41, while the supplementary numbers were 27 and 32.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4425 – two in ACT, and one each in South Australia, Queensland, and Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 394 so far in 2023, including 32 won by SA Lotteries customers.
