A Toongabbie man who admitted he’s had a tough couple of years during the pandemic is counting his lucky stars after bagging $200,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The stunned winner took home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1580, drawn Monday 11 July 2022.
Oblivious to his incredible win until an official from The Lott contacted him, the wonderful winner said he never expected to win but always dreamt it might happen.
“Far out! Far out! Are you serious?” he asked.
“This is amazing. I can’t tell you what this is going to do for me and my wife.
“It’s been a really tough couple of years for us, as I’m sure it’s been for a number of Australians.
“This is going to give us some security moving forward.
“I just can’t believe this has happened. I’ve got to tell the whole family. They’ll be shocked!”
The winning entry of one random number was purchased at Toongabbie Newsagency, 46 Aurelia Street, Toongabbie.
