A Toronto woman is gearing up to shower her family with a few extra presents and create unforgettable Christmas memories after bagging $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Lake Macquarie resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1739, drawn Wednesday 3 December 2025. She looks forward to a $200,000 payday.
When an official from The Lott called to confirm the thrilling news, the winning woman was completely oblivious to her newfound treasure and was going about her day as normal.
“Oh my god! Oh my goodness!” she cheered.
“Wow, that’s amazing news.
“I’m kind of in shock. I wasn’t expecting this call.
“I can’t wait to share the news with my family.”
With $200,000 set to boost her bank account just in time for the festive season, the stunned woman shared the prize would set the scene for celebrations.
“The prize is going to come in handy just before Christmas,” she said.
“I’ll be able to spoil my children rotten and add a few more pressies to the tree.
“Thank you two hundred thousand times!”
Her winning entry of one random number was purchased at Priceline Pharmacy Toronto, Shop 14, Toronto Town Square, 63 The Boulevard, Toronto.
Priceline Pharmacy Toronto lotteries manager Rachel Jackson shared she was thrilled to hear her store had sold its second major prize-winning ticket this year.
“We’re over the moon to hear we’ve sold another big winning entry! What a lovely surprise for one of our customers,” she said.
“In January, we sold a $200,000 winning ticket to one of our beautiful customers, and now, to close out the year, we’ve sold another $200,000 winning ticket.
“This brings our winning total to five major wins since we opened. We’re all so excited.
“We wish our winner all the best with their prize! We’re all so happy for you!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $17.92 million for draw 1740, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.80 million for draw 11050.
In FY25, 182 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot Prize winning entries across Australia won more than $20.5 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
