A Traralgon woman has confessed she plans to travel ‘everywhere’ after discovering her division one win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Latrobe Valley resident held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3917, drawn Saturday 2 February 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $574,474.92
Sharing her joy with a Tatts official this morning to confirm the life-changing news, the winner could not contain her disbelief at her good fortune.
“Unbelievable! I can’t believe it! I didn’t think things like this happened to people like me!” she exclaimed gleefully.
“It’s just fantastic! This has come at just the right time.
“I’m still a bit shell shocked about the whole thing.
“I was in bed on Saturday night and turned the radio on. They read out the numbers and I thought to myself ‘they sound like good numbers’.
“I jumped out of bed and checked them and saw that I had won!
“I think I’ve been playing my marked numbers for about 100 years! So to see them come up was quite amazing!”
When asked how she planned to spend her TattsLotto windfall, the thrilled winner revealed she hoped to explore ‘everywhere’ on her bucket list.
“I think I’ll have an early retirement! I think I will travel, that will be the best thing!” she declared.
“I think I’ll go everywhere! I can start by visiting all the places I’ve always really wanted to go and then I will do some day trips on the weekends or long weekends around Australia.”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 6 game marked entry at Traralgon Newsagency and Lotto, 51-53 Franklin Street, Traralgon.
Traralgon Newsagency and Lotto owner Gary Garth said it was great to have sold another division one winning entry at his outlet.
“What fantastic news! We’ll be sharing this exciting news with our customers,” he said.
“We think our customers will be thrilled to hear a local to the area has won division one.
“Since taking over the business in 2015 we have sold three division one winning entries, the last was in June 2018.

In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3917 on Saturday 2 February 2019 were 24, 12, 21, 5, 1 and 45, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 2.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3917, including three in Victoria, two in Queensland, and one each in South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 227 so far this financial year, including 96 won by Tatts customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
