Family first for Seaford woman following $1.25 million TattsLotto win

A Seaford woman has been left breathless by the revelation she’s now a millionaire from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Victorian was oblivious to her good fortune until an official from The Lott make contact with her on Sunday.

“I was just heading out to lunch when the phone rang. I was driving and saw the number and thought, ‘I don’t know anyone from Queensland’.  So, I didn’t answer,” she explained.

“At first, I thought your message was a scam, but then I thought I’d better check my ticket. That’s when I saw all the six numbers lit up on my ticket.

“I just wasn’t believing it. Things like this just don’t happen to me.

“One point two five million dollars! That sounds good to me! I’m pretty excited.

“When I told my husband, he said, ‘I hope you’re not lying to me!’.  He’s now sitting down in the lounge room catching his breath.

“It’s extraordinary! It’s a nice shock! It’s amazing.

“We’re going to absorb it a bit before we decide what to do, but we’ll definitely set our family up. Family first!”

The woman’s winning 25-game QuickPick was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

Inner Melbourne couple left “dumbfounded” by $1.25 million TattsLotto win

An inner Melbourne couple is thanking their decision to mark their TattsLotto entry for their $1.25 million windfall.

“Normally we go for QuickPicks, but yesterday my partner decided to put these numbers on. She just picked them,” the winning man explained when speaking to an official from The Lott on Sunday.

“This morning, she woke up and asked if I’d checked our TattsLotto ticket yet.  I said I hadn’t so she jumped out of bed to check it.

“Wow! Surprise! We were dumbfounded.

“We’ve probably got to let it sink in a bit first, but we’ve been wanting to buy a home for a while.

“This just takes a little bit of stress off.”

The couple’s winning marked System 8 entry was purchased at BWS Balaclava, 220 Carlisle Street, Balaclava.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4651 on 14 February 2026 were 12, 7, 3, 6, 14 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 20.

Across Australia, there were 16 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4651 – six in New South Wales, three in Western Australia, two each in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, and one in the ACT.
