Two weeks on: Mystery Latrobe shopper yet to claim their $1.6 million TattsLotto prize

Two weeks after the draw, Tatts officials are yet to hear the winning scream of delight from one mystery Latrobe resident or visitor who won a $1.6 million division one prize in TattsLotto.

The unregistered entry was one of the 12 division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3995, drawn Saturday 2 November 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,666,666.67.

The winning entry was sold at Latrobe Newsagency, 90 Gilbert Street, Latrobe.

Latrobe Newsagency morning manager Michelle Callander said there was still a buzz around town while they waited for the winner to come forward.

“Everyone is talking about it!” she exclaimed.

“We’re still waiting! We’ve been telling all of our customers to check their tickets and my word we are anxious to know what is going on.

“Every time someone checks their ticket we get excited!

“This is the second division one winning entry we’ve sold this year and we want to get another one to make it three!

“It’s fantastic for a little town like Latrobe. We hope we find our winner soon!”

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said she was eager to unite Tasmania’s newest millionaire with their prize.

“Imagine how your plans for the rest of the year would change if you discovered you were a millionaire!” she exclaimed.

“Instead of spending the festive season in the heat you could be heading overseas for a white Christmas!

“Winners have told us that they have found their winning entries hiding in plain sight from the fridge door to their wallet.

“So if you purchased a TattsLotto entry at Latrobe Newsagency that you haven’t checked yet make sure you check them because you could be the newly-minted millionaire we are searching for!

“If you realise you’re the Latrobe division one winner we’re looking for, hold on tight to that ticket and give us a call immediately on 131 868 to confirm the win and start the prize claim process.”

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 193 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3995 on Saturday 2 November 2019 were 12, 21, 10, 2, 1 and 42, while the supplementary numbers were 13 and 40.

Across Australia, there were 12 division one entries in TattsLotto draw 3995 – four from Victoria, three each from Western Australia and South Australia, and one each from New South Wales and Tasmania.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 327 so far this calendar year, including 126 won by Tatts customers.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, there were 244 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $286.6 million.
