The search continues for the winner of Tuesday night’s entire $30 million Oz Lotto jackpot prize, with NSW Lotteries officials this morning revealing the unregistered division one winning entry was sold at Pacific Square News in Maroubra.
The mystery winner holds the only division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1282 drawn on Tuesday 11 September 2018 and could be completely unaware they are $30 million richer.
The entry was not registered to a Player’s Club card, so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to confirm the life-changing news and have to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was sold at Pacific Square News, Shop 17, Pacific Square Shopping Centre, 707-747 Anzac Parade, Maroubra.
Owner of Pacific Square News David Zou said he was thrilled to discover his outlet sold the winning entry.
“I don’t know who will be more excited – me or my customers!” he exclaimed.
“They are always asking me when I sold my last winning entry, and I tell them it was a few years ago when we sold a $3.5 million Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot winning entry.
“I always say that it will be our turn again soon and my wishes have come true! I can tell them when they check their entries that I’ve sold another big one!
“We hope all of our customers check their tickets soon so we can unite the winner with their prize!”
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said she encouraged everyone who purchased an Oz Lotto entry from Pacific Square News to check their tickets, as they could be one of Australia’s newest multi-millionaires.
“We can’t wait to confirm the out-of-this-world prize with our mystery winner! Just imagine how $30 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest,” she said.
“There are 30 million reasons why all Sydney based players who had an entry in Tuesday night’s draw should check their ticket this morning.
“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”
NSW Lotteries reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Players Club card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.
