A Wagga Wagga man has been left speechless by the revelation he’s now a millionaire from the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The Riverina resident held one of the 18 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4639 on Saturday 3 January 2026. Each division one winning entry scored $1,666,666.67.

The winning man was oblivious to his good fortune until an official from The Lott called him on Sunday morning.

“Beautiful!” he exclaimed when the enormity of his prize was revealed.

“Thank you very much. Sensational!

“Bloody oath. I don’t know what to say.

“I had no idea. I’ve just been having a quiet morning.

“I only play every now and then. When there’s a big one, I’ll give it a go!

“The family is celebrating around me. This will do a fair bit. I’ll be able to clean up a few debts, pay off the mortgage, and enjoy some of the finer things in life.

“Good stuff!”

The man’s winning 25-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4639 on 3 January 2026 were 19, 36, 21, 10, 9 and 13, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 2.

Across Australia, there were 18 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4639 – seven in New South Wales, three each in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia and one each in South Australia and the ACT.
