A Craigieburn man couldn’t help but exclaim ‘wahoo!’ after discovering the life-changing news this morning he’d won over $1 million in Saturday’s TattsLotto.
The Melbourne resident held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3913, drawn Saturday 19 January 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,029,708.99.
As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the winner also won other divisional prizes including division two 6 times, division three 18 times, division four 90 times and division five 60 times, bolstering his total prize to $1,099,300.89.
Sharing his excitement with a Tatts official this morning, the man revealed how he discovered he’d become a millionaire.
“Wahoo!” he exclaimed
“I checked the app yesterday morning and couldn’t believe it!”
When asked how he planned to spend his TattsLotto windfall, the happy winner revealed he had his eyes on building a real estate portfolio.
“The first thing I’ll do is pay off my mortage,” he declared.
“Then I will put some away to invest in future properties.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his system 10 entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3913 on Saturday 19 January 2019 were 26, 11, 45, 8, 10 and 15, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 28.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3913, including two in Victoria and one each in Queensland and South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 212 so far this financial year, including 89 won by Tatts customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
