A Wamberal woman has confessed she’ll never change her special numbers again after they bagged her an incredible $100,000 win in the weekend’s Lotto Strike draw.
The Central Coast winner held the only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 5256 on Saturday 18 March 2023 and pocketed the entire $100,000 prize.
“Honestly, I’m still in a state of shock! It’s been a couple of days, and I’m wondering when this is actually going to sink in,” she laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed her windfall.
“It was actually a free ticket too! So, I almost didn’t check the results.
“Normally I check any entry the day after the draw, so when I saw this win I had to run straight to my husband and give him the good news.
“He didn’t believe me at first!
“It’s not hit us that it’s real and it’s going to change our lives.
“We’d like to do some renovations around our home to start with. We’ll also share it with our family.
“But I’ve already gone out and bought a new TV. It was something we’d been hoping to do soon, and with $100,000 about to hit my account, I thought it was the perfect time.
“Thank you so much, this is amazing.”
The woman’s winning entry was from Killarney Vale Newsagency, 112 Wyong Road, Killarney Vale.
The Killarney Vale Newsagency team said they were over the moon for their winning customer and wished them all the best for the future.
The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 5256 on Monday 20 March 2023 were 6, 44, 21 and 1.
Lotto Strike is an add-on game played with Saturday Lotto and Monday & Wednesday Lotto. Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four numbers in the exact order they are drawn during the Lotto draw.
If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw in same order drawn, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot for the next draw.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 310 so far this financial year, including 98 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
