Weekend to remember for 20 Victorians after syndicate scores $1.2 million TattsLotto win

Twenty Victorian lottery players have had a weekend to remember after their group syndicate entry scored them a division one prize of more than $1.2 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The group syndicate entry was one of four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4053, drawn Saturday 23 May 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $1,232,163.59.

As well as winning the division one prize, the group syndicate’s system 12 entry also won division three 36 times and division four 225 times, bolstering the syndicate’s total prize to $1,280,807.69.

Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $64,040.39.

Shares in the group syndicate were sold at eight outlets across Victoria.

The winning group syndicate was set up by Ivanhoe Plaza Jackpot Lotto.

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said some members of the winning syndicate held unregistered entries and might be yet to discover their winning news.

“What a great way to start your working week – discovering you’ve pocketed more than $64,000!” she said.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entry to their Tatts Cards, there are several syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call Tatts on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”

In 2019, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 203 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4053 on Saturday 23 May 2020 were 30, 45, 1, 21, 32 and 25, while the supplementary numbers were 31 and 39.

Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4053 – two from Victoria, and one each from Queensland and South Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 140 so far this calendar year, including 53 won by Tatts customers.

Between 1 January and 31 December 2019, there were 289 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $333.41 million.
