A Wetherill Park shopper has had a hump day discovery they’ll never forget, realising they won division one in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw.
The Sydney player held one of the one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3933, drawn Saturday 30 March 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $2,222,222.23.
However, how the newly minted millionaire plans to spend their Saturday Lotto windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said while we may never know how the Wetherill Park shopper planned to spend their prize we are sure it has changed their life forever.
“What an incredible mid-week discovery, to realise you are now a millionaire!” she exclaimed.
“No doubt our winner’s plans for the rest of the week will change when their bank account balloons by a few more zeros!
“Other winners tell us they love to share their windfall with their families, go on overseas holidays, pay off their mortgages or buy a new home.
“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall we are sure it has changed their lives forever!”
The winner purchased their winning entry at The Lucky Charm – Wetherill Park, Shop 86, Stockland Wetherill Park, 561-583 Polding Street, Wetherill Park.
The Lucky Charm – Wetherill Park employee Akshay Maggo said he was glad to know the winner had checked their ticket and discovered their windfall.
“This is the third time we’ve sold a division one winning entry in Saturday Lotto and we couldn’t be more excited!” he exclaimed.
“After every big win the thrill never goes away! We’ve been on a winning streak and we really hope it continues!
“We’re so happy for our customer and we wish them all the best.”
In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3933 on Saturday 30 March 2019 were 8, 31, 33, 26, 27 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 11 and 22.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 3933, two each in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia, and one each in Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 89 so far this calendar year, including 21 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
