There is some good news for 78 Victorian lottery players today after two separate syndicate entries into the weekend’s TattsLotto draw saw them take home a share of the $20 million division one prize pool.

Remarkably, three outlets across the state sold division one winning shares into both winning syndicates.

How 58 strangers won the lottery 6,640 times

A Victorian syndicate entry consisting of 58 players from across the state was one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4083, drawn Saturday 5 September 2020 and share a division one prize of $4 million.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the syndicate’s System 20 QuickPick entry also won a remarkable 6,639 times across all divisions, boosting their total prize to $4,368,326.50.

Each syndicate member receives a share worth $75,315.97.

Shares in the syndicate were purchased at 51 outlets across the state from Gippsland, to the Yarra Valley, throughout Melbourne and the Central Highlands and down the coast to Geelong.

20 Victorians each snare $200,000 windfall

Another Victorian syndicate entry consisting of 20 players was another of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4083 that scored a division one prize in the weekend’s draw.

As well as winning the $4 million division one prize, their marked System 20 entry also scored them division three 84 times and division four 1,365 times, bolstering their total prize to $4,151,974.90.

Each syndicate member receives a share worth $207,598.75.

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.

“It’s fair to say these syndicate members have had a great start to their week by pocketing tens of thousands of dollars each!” she exclaimed.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their Tatts Cards, there are many syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the most recent TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call Tatts on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”

Last financial year, TattsLotto created 127 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4083 on Saturday 5 September 2020 were 38, 13, 2, 32, 3 and 37 while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 29.

Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4083 – three from Victoria and two from Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 272 so far this calendar year, including 109 won by Tatts customers.

Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, there were 318 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $346.12 million.
