Seven members of a Tingalpa syndicate are walking around with winning smiles this morning after their Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate entry scored division one.
The Queensland entry was one of the five division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3997 on Saturday 9 November 2019, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $797,869.82.
In addition to winning division one, the System 8 Quickpick entry also scored division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bolstering the syndicate’s total prize to $813,302.12.
Each member of the syndicate takes home a prize of $116,186.02.
The winning syndicate entry was sold at Tingalpa Newsagency, Shop 1, Twin Parks Shopping Centre, 1534 Wynnum Road, Tingalpa.
Tingalpa Newsagency owner Gayle Dewar said she was thrilled to have created and sold the division one winning syndicate.
“We decided to set up this syndicate especially for Saturday’s draw and we’re so glad we did,” she said.
“Just about everyone who had a share has now been in to check their ticket and discover their windfall.
“They are all locals to Tingalpa and regular customers and are all so happy.
“They’ve been waiting for a win for a while and we’re thrilled it’s finally happened!”
In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto created 193 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3997 on Saturday 9 November 2019 were 28, 1, 25, 36, 27 and 10, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 18.
Across Australia, there were five division one entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3997 – three from New South Wales and one each from Queensland and Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 326 so far this calendar year, including 70 won by Golden Casket customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, there were 244 division one winning Saturday Gold Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $286.6 million.
