A Wynyard woman has admitted she hasn’t slept a wink since discovering her “life-changing” $100,000 Instant Scratch-Its top prize.
The Tasmanian’s winning $5 Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Wynyard Newsagency, 96 Goldie Street, Wynyard.
“This is a very happy surprise,” the winning woman cheered when she claimed her prize from The Lott.
“When I first scratched the ticket and realised I had the right combination, I was absolutely astounded.
“I wasn’t even sure I was seeing things right.
“I had to get my sister to check over it and she said to me, ‘It looks like you have a winner, you should go into the newsagent in the morning to check’.
“I can tell you now, I didn’t get any sleep that night. None.
“You have no idea how life-changing this win is for me. Thank you!”
Wynyard Newsagency team member Anneka Hall shared she was extremely happy to have sold the outlet's first top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
“We’ve had a few division two wins over the years but never an Instant Scratch-Its top prize win,” she said.
“Our customers are so excited that someone local has won and that they could be next.
“We wish our winner all the best with their prize and hope they enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime win.”
