A group of Adelaide residents have started the week on a high after the city welcomed three division one wins in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
A Henley Beach couple, a Smithfield mum, and a Seaford syndicate of five players held three of the 27 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday X Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw, draw 4061 on 20 June 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $740,740.75.

A Henley Beach couple believe using gemstones and discarding all of the artificial plants in their house led them to winning division one in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
This morning, an official from the Lott called to break the exciting news to the winning pair.
“Oh my god, are you serious?” the wife laughed.
“Thank you so much!
“I have been playing for years and years.”
“I always told her to stop playing, but now I am glad she always bought a ticket each week,” the husband continued.
“I am not surprised though, my wife’s always a winner. I mean, she married me!
“This has got to be the best Monday we’ve ever had.”
The couple thanked some advice they’d been given for scoring them division one.
“You know a few weeks ago I started putting some gemstones on top of my tickets for the positive energy,” the winning woman shared.
“And another thing, a few months ago we were told by a very spiritual lady that having fake plants in our house is very bad luck and we had heaps of them!
“So we got rid of them all for the good luck.
“I think we need to thank her because we’ve certainly come into some luck now!”
When asked how they planned to enjoy their division one win, the stoked couple said they would use their prize wisely.
“It might sound boring, but we are going to pay off the mortgage,” the husband explained.
“We might get a new car too! That’s something fun and exciting that we can do!
“This just takes the stress away. It’s amazing!
“We’ve been under a bit of financial pressure lately, so this really means so much to us.”
The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their System 7 QuickPick at West Lakes Pharmacy, Shop 18, West Lakes Mall, Brebner Drive, West Lakes.
Smithfield family eyes future trip to Disneyland with X Lotto division one windfall
A Smithfield family is making plans to one day fulfil a long-held dream of visiting Disneyland after winning a Saturday X Lotto division one prize.
Confirming the win with an official from the Lott this morning, the winning mum described the moment she realised she’d won the big one.
“It was after the draw on Saturday night that I checked my ticket on my phone,” she said.
“At first I thought I’d won $12.20, but when I scrolled down… oh my god! I called my husband over, and we just kept checking it that night.
“I only play every now and then. I saw a few people outside the shop last week and I thought I might as well get a ticket. I’m glad I did!”
When asked how her family might enjoy almost three-quarters of a million dollars, the woman had no hesitation.
“We’d love to take the kids to Disneyland. We obviously can’t at the moment, but when we can, we’ll be going,” she said.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 50-game QuickPick at Munno Para Newsagency, Munno Para Shopping Centre, Main North Road, Smithfield.
Munno Para Newsagency manager Mary Coalter said she couldn’t be happier for the outlet’s division one winners.
“How exciting,” she said.
“It’s just fantastic news!
“We are so happy for our local winners. We wish them all the best with their prize, and we hope they enjoy going to Disneyland, once they finally can go.
“We’ve had quite a few division one wins in the past, and we can’t wait for some more!”
Party of five share Seaford Saturday X Lotto syndicate win
There won’t be any Monday blues for a group of five Seaford shoppers after they scored a Saturday X Lotto division one prize of $740,740.75.
The syndicate was established at Seaford Newsagency, Shop 17, Seaford Shopping Centre, Cnr Commercial Road and The Parade, Seaford. Each of the five syndicate members receives a share worth $148,148.15.
As many of the syndicate shares are not registered to an EasiPlay Club card, some players may still be unaware of their good fortune.
If a player discovers they’re holding a winning share, they should call the Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.
Seaford Newsagency owners Manish Vinayak and Aarti Markan said they were celebrating the outlet’s first division one win in two years.
“We are so happy! The whole team was thrilled when they found out,” Manish said.
“It’s a syndicate that we have every week.
“It’s called Sam’s 100 Games. It’s been going for about two years."
“We are so incredibly happy for our winners, and we wish them the best,” Aarti added.
“It’s the first division one winning entry we have sold since we got the shop two years ago.
“We hope to have many more division one wins.”
In 2019, Monday & Wednesday X Lotto and Saturday X Lotto created 203 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4061 on Saturday 20 June 2020 were 22, 17, 19, 29, 9 and 11, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 21.
Across Australia, there were 27 division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4061 – 10 from Victoria, five each from Queensland and New South Wales, four from Western Australia, and three from South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 187 so far this calendar year, including 14 won by SA Lottery customers.
Between 1 January and 31 December 2019, there were 289 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $333.41 million.
