A Yarra Ranges man has confessed he had a Father’s Day that will be hard to top in future years after discovering he won $2.5 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian winner held one of the eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4605 on Saturday 6 September 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $2.5 million.
“It’s wonderful news,” the happy man exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott.
“I’ve been playing these numbers, they’re my favourites, for a while, and eventually they’ve come good.
“I was just getting my ticket yesterday and I noticed it was $20 million for this TattsLotto draw. I’m glad I bought an entry!
“I never check my tickets. If something turns up in my account - $9 or $18 – I consider myself lucky. I now think I’m very, very lucky!
“This is life-changing! I’ll certainly look after my family, and it will be a great nest egg for my retirement.
“It will allow me to upgrade the car and caravan for future trips.”
The man’s winning marked 50-game entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4605 on 6 September 2025 were 43, 6, 21, 10, 42 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 23 and 36.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4605 – three each in New South Wales and Victoria, and one each in Queensland and Tasmania.
