A generous grandmother from Langwarrin is looking forward to taking her beloved family to Europe after winning a multi-million dollar division prize one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The happy woman was one of seven division one winners nationally in TattsLotto Saturday $20 million Superdraw 3889 drawn Saturday 27 October 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $2,857,142.86.

When speaking with a Tatts official this morning to confirm her win, the happy granny couldn’t help but exclaim with glee.

“Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!” she screamed enthusiastically.

“I saw the winning numbers on the TV Saturday night. I watch the draw every week.

“I’ve been playing every week since my children were little, so about 45 years!

“I’ve never had a prize like this. I think the most I’ve won is about $1700 – that’s all!

“I never expected to win this much!”

When asked how she planned to spend her windfall, the happy woman revealed she would share it with those at the top of her Lotto List – her beloved grandchildren.

“We’ll use it to fix up the house and we’ll share it with the grandkids,” she declared.

“Then we will take them all overseas to Europe. I’ve been a few times but I would love to go back and it will be lovely to do it with family.”

The Langwarrin local, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 24-game QuickPick entry at Langwarrin Lotto, Shop 11 South Gateway, 230 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Langwarrin.

It is the third division one winning entry sold at Langwarrin Lotto this year. In January the outlet sold a TattsLotto division one prize worth $990,953.99, followed by a 10-share store syndicate TattsLotto division one win worth $461,555.44 in May.

Langwarrin Lotto owner Visnja Dall’Oste said she was thrilled her outlet had sold another division one winning entry.

“We are really happy to hear we’ve sold another big one,” she said.

“We wish our latest winner all the best with their prize!”

So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto have created 152 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3889 on Saturday 29 October 2018 were 13, 17, 32, 9, 37 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 14.

Across Australia there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday’s TattsLotto $20 Million Superdraw draw 3889 – two each from Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, and one from South Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 325 so far this calendar year, including 130 won by Tatts customers.

Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $302.7 million.
