A Bowral woman now plans to retire earlier than initially planned, thanks to a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win on New Year’s Eve.

The New South Wales woman held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10515, drawn Friday 31 December 2021.

In addition to winning the $100,000 1st Prize, she also won a $1,000 consolation prize.

Moments after the draw and just hours before the end of 2021, an official from The Lott contacted the winner to deliver the news.

“Bulls***!” she exclaimed while her family erupted into celebrations around her.

“I’m shaking. The hairs on my arms are standing up!

“That is good news on New Year’s Eve! Thank you!

“I’m glad you rang. If I’d just checked the ticket myself, I would’ve had a heart attack.

“You’ve made my day.

“This will help me to work less in 2022 and retire earlier.

“I keep praying to the angles to help my kids. They keep telling me they can look after themselves, but I’d love to help them with this too.”

Her winning entry of 5 consecutive numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
