Call of the search! Creswick’s latest newly-minted millionaire has been found after they came forward this morning to claim their $1 million Monday Lotto prize.
The mystery Victorian player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday Lotto draw 3996, drawn Monday 3 August 2020 and takes home the division one prize of $1 million.
However, how the winner plans to enjoy their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was sold at Creswick Lotto, 65 Albert Street, Creswick.
Creswick Lotto owner Rosemary Bridges said she was thrilled the winner had been united with their prize.
“We hope that the life-changing win has given them a little extra lift during these tough times,” she said.
“This is the second division one winning entry we’ve sold in the past five months!
“We’re on a bit of a winning streak. I’ve been telling all of my customers that good things come in threes so hopefully, we sell another one this year.

Last financial year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 86 millionaires, across Australia.
The winning numbers in Monday Lotto draw 3996 on Monday 3 August 2020 were 40, 24, 17, 1, 12 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 15.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry from Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 234 so far this calendar year, including 93 won by Tatts customers.
Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, there were 101 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $98 million.
