After a “rotten” 2021, a Camira woman sees her $10,000 Instant Scratch-Its win as a sign of good things to come in the year ahead.

The top prize winning $1 Christmas Gift Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at TSG Camira, Shop 7, 324-336 Old Logan Road, Camira.

“I bought this ticket for myself for Christmas, but only scratched it on Boxing Day. It’s the best gift ever,” the Ipswich winner exclaimed.

“I didn’t believe it when I first saw the prize. I had to get a magnifying glass out to check.

“I still didn’t believe it until The Lott confirmed it really was a winning ticket.

“It’s crazy!

“I only play Instant Scratch-Its tickets every now and then. I’m certainly glad I got this one.

“I have no idea what I’m going to do with the $10,000. I’m sure there will be something fun in there.

“Things have been rotten this year, but next year is going to be better, and this is a great start.”

In FY21, there were 176 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across The Lott’s jurisdictions who collectively took home more than $14.17 million in top prizes.

During this same time, Instant Scratch-Its players enjoyed more than 31.2 million wins across all prize tiers worth more than $274.31 million. This equates to more than $750,000 won on Instant Scratch-Its every day.
